Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Optical Line Systems (OLS) / Layer-0 (L0).
• Strong understanding of DWDM and optical transport systems.
• Hands-on experience with ROADM / CDC ROADM / WSS.
• Knowledge of optical amplifiers, EDFA and/or Raman amplification.
• Strong C++ programming experience; C experience is an advantage.
• Experience in embedded software development and operating systems such as Embedded Linux or RTOS.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and software architecture.
• Experience with software requirements, design, development, integration and debugging.
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Good understanding of optical/telecom system architecture and hardware-software integration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
