Role summary – Work on feature design, implementation, sustaining, defect fixing and integration support for embedded firmware used in optical pluggable devices.

Must-have skills: Embedded C++; RTOS or embedded Linux; multithreading; memory and interrupt handling; device-level debugging; Python scripting; Git; JIRA; unit testing and integration testing.

Preferred skills: Optical pluggables, CMIS, OTN, coherent optics, DSP/line configuration, telecom/networking firmware, AI-assisted coding/debugging tools.
