Role summary – Provide technical leadership for one scrum team responsible for feature development and sustaining of optical pluggable firmware areas. Own design, guide engineers, review code and resolve complex technical issues.

Must-have skills: Strong embedded C++; RTOS or embedded Linux; device drivers; interrupts; memory management; multithreading; debugging; object-oriented design; Git; JIRA; Python scripting.

Preferred skills: Optical pluggables, CMIS, coherent optics, OTN, Ethernet 100G/400G/800G, DSP/line configuration, telecom firmware, AI-assisted development tools.
